Carpenter
Carpenters are skilled artisans who construct, erect, install and renovate structures made of wood and other materials, ranging from kitchen cabinets to building frameworks.
A carpenter is responsible for working with wood to build and repair structures and other items and they also may have to select and source appropriate materials depending on project needs. They must but not limited to:
• Cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
• Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurements
• Aware of health and safety hazards or requirements
• Lay out floorings, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Painter
A Painter is a professional who helps prepare surfaces, mix paints for different needs, and apply them with brushes or rollers to fill in cracks or apply color on walls or interior exterior structures and other objects.
An excellent painter is knowledgeable in selecting the right material for their job. They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. They must but not limited to:
• Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
• Strong knowledge about texture painting work in public area wall and ceiling with texture finishing works
• Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
• Aware of health and safety hazards or requirements
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., plaster)
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Apply varnish and other finishes
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
• Complete work orders on time
• Create records of materials used
Polisher
Polisher is skilled professional to shape, finish, and restore the furniture. Polisher will be required to examine the product, identify damaged areas, disassemble the basic parts, and smooth or shape the wood. And be required to apply finishing lubricants to achieve the desired color and design.
Also, should have advanced woodworking skills, good knowledge of finishing techniques, and a good eye for detail. They must but not limited to:
• Disassembling the furniture or wooden item.
• Inspecting the wood for rot and physical damage.
• Repairing broken parts, removing imperfections, and filling in cracks.
• Removing old finishing’s and excess solvent.
• Sanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishing.
• Selecting and applying finishing lubricants such as varnish, stains, or shellac.
• Replacing or refurbishing upholstery.
• Inspecting the refurbished product
• Aware of health and safety hazards or requirements
• Read and follow technical drawings
• Inspect furniture to determine the type of wood and finish
• Clean and prepare furniture surfaces for polishing
• Use sandpaper, steel wool, and other abrasive tools to smooth out imperfections
• Apply stains, sealants, and finishes to furniture surfaces
• Use hand or power tools to buff and polish furniture to a high shine
• Monitor inventory of polishing supplies and request orders when necessary
• Ensure that finished products meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on polishing equipment to ensure proper function

Mason
A Mason who can cut, dress and lay stone, and who is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools. Masons can expect to work in all weather and with various materials, lift and carry heavy objects, and read and assess technical drawings. Their responsibilities include texturing and polishing blocks of stone, installing dressed stone, mixing cement and mortar, and restoring old and damaged masonry works. They must but not limited to:
• Assist in building layout, framing, sheathing and roofing structures
• Use equipment and tools to safely perform basic construction tasks
• Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Aware of health and safety hazards or requirements
• Read and follow technical drawings
• Complete work orders on time
• Create records of materials used
Carpenter

Painter
• Proven experience as a painter
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them

• Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards.
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail
• Solid communication skills.
• Good balance and physical strength.
Polisher
• Proven work experience as a Polisher or similar role
• Experience in furniture polishing techniques and materials
• In-depth knowledge of staining and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of different types of wood and finishes
• Ability to operate and maintain polishing equipment and tools
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and fix imperfections in furniture surfaces
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture
• Time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
