Seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Hard Services and Engineering to lead facility management initiatives for a high-profile project, including major events like the F1 Grand Prix. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of facility operations, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of critical systems and infrastructure.
1. Technical Planning and Oversight:
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of hard services and engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of facility systems.
2. Preventive Maintenance:
- Establish preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment and systems, ensuring regular inspections, testing, and servicing to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and trends, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they escalate into costly failures or disruptions.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
- Stay abreast of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing facility operations, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external auditors to facilitate inspections, audits, and certifications for engineering systems and infrastructure.
4. Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols to effectively manage crises, such as power outages, equipment failures, or natural disasters.
- Conduct drills and simulations to test the readiness and effectiveness of emergency procedures and provide training to staff on response protocols.
5. Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for hard services and engineering activities, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality or reliability.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee service agreements to ensure value for money and adherence to performance standards.
6. Technical Support for Events:
- Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to assess technical requirements for major events, providing expertise and support in planning and executing infrastructure setups, power distribution, and logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and troubleshooting during events, coordinating rapid response efforts to address any issues or emergencies.
7. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of technical professionals, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
